The survey questionnaire was addressed to 1,116 parents of children aged between 7 and 14. As suggested by the research, there is a considerable interest in the process of children’s education and development of their digital competence regarding the following IT spheres: computer graphics, programming, and animation. The paper also presents the concept of a diagnostic platform, which will contribute to the adequate profiling of the didactic material in terms of the students’ predispositions through an interactive mode of observations.
