 abstract={The paper presents results of an analysis of the position of agriculture against specialisation trends of Polish economy in the period 1992-2003. Although there was observed some increase of competitiveness of this sector since the beginning of the transition process, a permanent tendency of the position of Polish agriculture on international market could not be determined. The cause of this could be relatively high sensitivity of the Polish agricultural exports to market conditions. However, a global assessment of the results of economy changes requires a subsequent investigation.},
